It really was. Did some quick research: 10/32 of the first round picks are either retired or 'free agents' and haven't played in the league in almost 2 years.  That's almost a full 1/3 of the 1st round.  I'm not even counting Alec Ogletree or Jonathan Cooper who played LAST YEAR and are currently FAs.  Dion Jordan has played 50 out of 112 possible games, and only started FOUR.  He missed the entire 2015 and 2016 seasons due to suspension.  That first round was ABYSMAL.  One would think getting the reigning Outland Trophy winner and unanimous All-American would mean you were getting a QUALITY pick. Who knew?
