People seem to be forgetting that Khan had a big sit down with Marrone and Caldwell when deciding whether to retain them - at which point they jointly laid out some "big plan" to right the ship. Khan bought it and kept them on board. 
So now we wait to find out what the hell this big plan actually is. *shrug*

I'd wager the plan turns out like this:

 - Fix the run defense  (not too difficult)

 - Roll the dice with a revamped secondary that isn't ready yet

 - Continue to pretend the O-Line is fine despite QBs running for their lives after 1.5 seconds in the "pocket"

 - Add a target or two for Minshew that he doesn't have time to find open unless he scrambles

 - Scrape and claw to a 7-9 finish 

 - Let a new staff and GM pick up the pieces and try to cobble together a competitive team in 2021
