I'd wager the plan turns out like this:

 - Fix the run defense  (not too difficult)

 - Roll the dice with a revamped secondary that isn't ready yet

 - Continue to pretend the O-Line is fine despite QBs running for their lives after 1.5 seconds in the "pocket"

 - Add a target or two for Minshew that he doesn't have time to find open unless he scrambles

- Criticize that GM15 "leaves the pocket too early" and "has happy feet in there, you know?"

 - Scrape and claw to a 7-9 finish 

 - Let a new staff and GM pick up the pieces and try to cobble together a competitive team in 2021
