I'm one of the biggest proponents of the 'get a QB and everything else will work itself out' school of thought, but to say the rest of the team can't improve without a new QB is just wrong.

 

Stick a RB who isn't done, behind a better OL and a sober Justin Blackmon on the outside, and the offense should be better. Stick a legit pass rusher and a decent corner in, and the defense will be better. We wont will any championships like that, but we will improve. If we dont improve at all in 2 years Gus and Dave could be in trouble.

 

I still don't see it happening.
