Your not going to hit on every pick complaining that a late 3rd round pick damn near a 4th isn’t a penciled in starter after his first year is ridiculous. The guy was the star of training camps first week he’s still a freak athlete with potential let’s see what happens maybe he does start instead of Jacobs it’s to early to say. One thing is for certain though it’s sounds they will have some sort of role for him to play no matter what.

It does when it’s a LB. Its common sense around the league you don’t take a LB early unless you anticipate him being a big part of your defense. That’s the point I’m trying to make, it’s the constant misuse of draft picks and constantly trying to fit square pieces into circular holes. We struggled HARD at run defense last year and we all agree that Myles Jack was a big part of that. Everyone wants the next “Poz”, leader and tackle machine. Wel they went out and got a guy who struggles hard at tackling, in the process wasting a way a draft pick from the year prior. 

Jack and Joe are not the answer for helping the run defense at the LB position. Expecting a DT to come in and be the sole answer is foolish. Just as foolish as thinking any of this makes sense. Just as foolish as we continue to trade actual productive players for draft picks and misuse them.
