I was excited when the news came out he was going to be in Star Wars as I thought he'd make a great character. In retrospect, his talents were wasted there which is probably just as well considering how terrible the new trilogy was. Never even bothered to go see Rise of Skywalker which prior to Force Awakens I wouldn't have fathomed, but here we are. I haven't seen all of Von Sydow's work, but I became a fan of his from his character Dr. Kynes in the theatrical version of "Dune". Love that movie. |
