John Prine, Who Chronicled the Human Condition in Song, Dies at 73

If you never heard of the guy, stop what you're doing and youtube Bonnie Raitt's rendition of "Angel from Montgomery". Prine shows up as the songwriter for a ton of songs done by other artists, and not just in the country universe.
This really sucks, I heard he had the virus a couple weeks back, but was improving. RIP John. |
