Other than the lack of those two, our lives haven't changed at all other than (me) having to wait in a long line to go through the drive thru teller at the bank when business checks are deposited. I miss being able to go to the occasional movie, going to the gym (I walk a 3 mile circuit in my neighborhood for now,) and going out in public mask free.

Why the heck are banks/credit unions closed? They can put up plexiglass as a barrier like everyone else is (Food Lion, Lowes, Harris Teeter, etc.) and mark the floor every six feet with tape like everyone else is doing. I have probably $100 of coins in my coin can and it's about to run over. I can't go in the credit union to empty it and get bills and I'm not paying some random machine 10-12% to do it for me. I guess I'll get another can. So I guess that's something.

Freedoms you miss  are sometimes in the smallest of things.

That’s strange.  I haven’t noticed banks/credit unions closed here.  The odd thing I find is ours seem to be drive thru only.  All my banks I go to have that full bulletproof glass.  But yet, you make all your patrons touch the common denominator of the dreaded “tube”.  Yuck!  Commercial lane is where I’ll be.

The drive thru lanes are open but there are long lines all. day. long. I have to drive my husband's car when I go so I can squeeze into right spots my Silverado can't get into.

I remember the bulletproof glass and there was always a JSO officer sitting in their car or in the building. Good ole Duval. There is none of that here in small town NC.
