My man you never hurt my feelings its Sports Debate not personal and nothing wrong with having a difference of opinion my friend. They both have a different style of play and Gardner Minshew does have more upside. The question is can  Gardner Minshew reach it with this coaching staff and if Cam Newton can healthy he is the better player right or without the deadly accuracy. Gardner Minshew only two for 60% last year so let's just hope he can improve upon that statistic.

Fair enough: but when you tell someone to stop watching footbal 'because this sport is not for you'?  That sounds pretty personal.  Im all about having differences of opinion if you're willing to debate about it.  I agree Minshew has more upside.  However, I also believe that Newton is on the downside of his career.  Even with the stellar O-Line he had in Carolina, he could never quite put it together outside that outstanding MVP season he had. The rest of his career he's been mediocre.  Better athlete? Sure.  Better QB?  That's up to debate.  He's 71-59-1 for his career.  Take away that MVP season; that winning record drops to a pedestrian 56-58-1.  You willing to stake our season on questionable accuracy, questionable health, and a SEVERELY questionable offensive line? I'm not.  I'd rather roll with the kid that's younger, been here, and knows the players in the building already. Most important: he didn't look like an abject dumpster fire while he was being fed to the wolves last year.
