Missouri DE Michael Sam admits to being gay
|
Quote:http://m.espn.go.com/wireless/story?storyId=10429030 Matt, I would be surprised if this annoucement has a significant effect on Michael Sam's draft stock. Being that there are 32 teams, which I consider a large number, all it takes is one of those teams to select him based on what they believe his football value is. If we were living in a time frame of 10 years ago or longer, collusion amongst the vast majority of NFL franchises could have been a realistic possibility to prevent Sam from being drafted close to the spot that reflects his football value. In the current era, there's absolutely no way I can envision wide spread collusion from NFL teams on this issue or any issue related to what's considered by many the LGBT Community. |
