He came out because the cat was already out of the bag. I applaud him for saying he is just a football player and not an activist. At the end of the day, he is just being honest about who he is.


As for people saying they wouldn't want him on our team, I actually think ours is one of the locker rooms he would be safe coming into. So long as he has that love of football and drive to compete.


He cannot help that ESPN and other major media outlets are gonna blow this up beyond what it is really worth. This is Tebow 2.0 or Favre retirement watch all over again for the people that manufacture story lines instead of doing actual reporting.


He was SEC defender of the year. He has flashed in games. But he had a bad Senior Bowl. If he is there and ranks out appropriately, you draft him. Its that simple. Just like seeing black baseball players is not even noticed as unusual, someday fans will also turn a rightfully blind eye to sexual preference. All that matters is what occurs on the field.
