Reason I’m asking is it doesn’t seem smart to ask a 5’8” corner to cover a 6’4” WR, especially in jump ball situations.

This is why I like the Collin Johnson pick.

If you line him up at the slot, who does the D use to cover him?

Usually nickelbacks are smaller  No way they can win any jump balls against him.

If defenses somehow move a bigger more physical starting CB to cover hum, he still will be shorter than Johnson, having Johnson in the slot will better enable him to escape the jam at the LOS, and it will take the corner off of Chark or Shenault.

LBs might be big enough to cover him, but not nimble or fast enough.
