No one is giving Caldwell a pass for picks like: Bortles, Marqise Lee, TJ Yeldon, AJ Cann etc.  & yes it's pretty obvious that if you're signing somewhere you're going to toss praise to the guy who just gave you a contract that set you up for life (TC), they also said in the same breath that the other offers they received weren't as appealing both in terms of $$ as well as fit, location, team aspirations etc.

So Gipson plays well, you just acknowledged that, but you're going to paint his entire stint here based on one play in the AFCCG? I fail to see how signing an above average player in free agency is a knock against Caldwell and how that fits into your narrative that Caldwell couldn't sign any good free agents pre TC/2017. You also just flat out ignored Malik Jackson, Sen'Derrick Marks (2 DT's that get 8+ sacks each in a season are homerun signings, credit where credit is due), Chris Ivory .. like he's signed some great players that you're just ignoring.

"You guys really deserve this team" ... then go find another team to root for if all you want to do is whine, don't let the door hit you on the way out. No where did I say Caldwell deserves the executive of the year award, or that everything he does is roses; I think all things considered he's done a decent job and has earned another year to show what he can do running the entire show.
