So carrying out a death sentence without a trial against people who have may or may not have committed burglary. Yeah, that's going to de-escalate things, and opening fire on unarmed civilians is always the morally right thing to do.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that the Minnesota government didn't need help, because they absolutely do, but a tweet that uses "THUGS" in all caps--a word that is identified by many in the African-American community as being the same thing as calling them n-words--is inflammatory and tone-deaf. Two things Trump loves to be when he knows it'll win him brownie points with the ever-shrinking percentage of this country that's still trying to defend him as anything other than an opportunistic sack of [BLEEP].

Wait what?  Trump calls out the idiots pushing shopping carts full of stolen goods out of target and HE's the opportunist?  Bruh...  hundreds of millions of dollars of damage being done to black communities by looters and criminals and we get pearl clutching about "THUGS" in all caps.
