Did the cops use to much force when pushing him away. In retrospect yes, but it's hard to calibrate just how much force to use in such a situation. It's not like they've had years of practice pushing away old men who refuse to move when ordered.

I support reform in our police departments to vet out the [BLEEP] morons that need "years of training" to know they don't have to shove 75 year old men to the ground in the first place. 

Anybody with eyeballs in their head can see those cops could have handled that situation much more calmly. 

How about training cops that they don't have to shove ANYONE to the ground with out just cause. 

The 41 charges of assault being pursued by prosecutors against NYPD officers that have come during these recent protests stand as justification for the protests, and this Buffalo incident is yet another example of cops misusing the trust placed in them with the badge. 

These protests were intended to highlight past events, but they are also revealing that excessive use of force and brutality are likely even more widespread than previously believed in several of our police forces.
