Of course it's possible they merely did this in a routine fashion, but I'm speculating they didn't want to be tied to this wrongful death. In retrospect of my comments, I guess they are inextricably linked anyway.

The investigation concluded and they discarded the footage at that time; no one ever asked them to provide it during the investigation. That appears to be their normal process and it's only a problem now because of the current nonsense.

Millions upon millions upon millions of people all over the globe crying out for justice and equality = "nonsense."
