Right before Blake gets to the drivers side door, the closest officer does look like he's trying to grab Blake.
But that officer already had his gun drawn before he closed.  Tactically that's stupid. A wrestling match where one party already has a gun out pretty much has to end in shots. 

Was any attempt made to tackle him before he starts to walk around his car?

So easy to Monday morning QB the tactics used against a criminal resisting police arrest from your living room chair while trying to avoid getting Cheeto dust in the keyboard.
