You see it doesn't matter what tactic the police use.  At some point something is bound to go wrong, and there will be someone with a cell phone to catch it.  That's the funny thing about criminals and drug addicts, they don't want to go to jail.  If they would just comply, or better yet OBEY THE LAW, this kind of thing would not be an issue.

1) knees between the shoulder blades and below should be enough to get cuffs on.
2) it does not take 9 minutes to apply cuffs.

Your post is text book argument ad absurdum.  I didn't say tackling or hand to hand would solve everything for the cops.  I did say it would ha e solved this situation.  If you take any argument to absurd lengths, the argument becomes ridiculous.  Doesn't mean the original argument was ridiculous.

So... did you watch the full 37 minute video of that case?

He kicked himself out of the police vehicle, after being assured they would roll down the windows, sit with him and have the AC at full blast........ I know from personal experience JSO would have just beat his [BLEEP] and thrown him in.

Ha, just reminded me of a funny time from my youth.. me and my friend were drunk and being really stupid... walked up to a drive thru and tried to get food... unbeknownst to us, they called the cops who came, cuffed us and sat us at the curb as they tried to find out what was happening... my friend kept moving his wrists from behind his back, under his legs to put his hands in front of him... after the third time the cops had enough and hit him in the legs with their PR24 and took him to jail and let me go. Comply and sue later.
