It is what it is.  And that's exactly what folks will expect... no, DEMAND from whoever we draft this season.

 

I say hang on for the ride, because I don't expect us to find a savior at QB this year no matter who we draft.

 

What we should not expect is Robert Griffin's success (winning a division title) from our rookie quarterback. But if a player is projected to go in the top five he is expected to be the quarterback when we go back to the playoffs - whether it is next season, next calendar year, or later in his career - for a good reason.

 

If we draft a quarterback at #3 overall, I expect the Jaguars to get back in the playoffs within five years. If we wait until the second round, I will be the angriest Jaguars fan.
