Holy cow! I have rarely seen such an annihilation- especially in the playoffs. The Jags leading 38-0 with 12 minutes left in the first half is still hard to believe. The Dolphins seemed to just quit when it was obvious they had no chance. This game was enjoyable to watch again- especially all the big plays. Fred Taylor's 90 yarder for a touchdown followed shortly by his amazing run on the screen pass from Brunell were both incredible. His moves on both plays were on the level of Barry Sanders and Gale Sayers at their finest. Having two skill players like him and Jimmy Smith made the offense hard to stop. While watching them eventually pass 60 points, I remember saying that they should "save" some of those points for next week's opponent in the Championship game. Unfortunately, that negative thought came to fruition against the Titans in the most disappointing game in team history. That team should have won the Super Bowl with all the talent they had!

One thing which I had forgotten was that Tony Boselli did not play due to a torn ACL suffered at the end of the regular season. Although Ben Coleman seemed to fill in admirably, one has to wonder whether the outcome of the Titans' game would have been different had he played. Injuries are inevitable, but to lose such a valuable player is difficult to overcome against a great team like the Titans.
