Cutting Fournette is hardly "taking everything away from him", he's got some new and healthy returning linemen, a new Tight End, the same receivers...this whole thread is like something out of J-Dub's "Corky's Greatest Takes" playbook.

Ya'll fail to realize we had the right chemistry on the 2017 team. The different personalities whoever they were fed off each other and played well together. The team is going to have play a couple seasons together before that happens here again.
Fournette was a workhorse, we are not sure these rbs that we have will duplicate his productivity, no matter how much yall try to downplay it. Our defense got worse so there will be pressure on Minshew and the offense to try to put up a lot of points if the defense can't stop teams from scoring.

Not saying you have to agree but I don't understand how you possibly think all the changes we have had this past year is not going to do something to our 2nd year qb.

Lol, nice that you compare the chemistry to a team that was here three years ago and not the dumpster fire we had last year when all those personalities fed off each other the wrong way.  Fournette is a workhorse who helped us win 6 games, now we have an offense that might or might not need that guy to be better than that. You assume our defense got worse, I think if it's bad then it's just the same as last year with hopefully some improvement over the course of the year. I'm optimistic that our 2nd year QB is going to have a good year with the changes, dare I say improvements, around him. Every change that's happened can be for the good, people are just miserably pessimistic.
