But I'm just confused about what people expected from this season... Did anybody expect us to be good this year? I've been saying repeatedly, since the end of last season, that we had zero chance of being a good team this year... Therefore, I think it's better that we set up to make our team as good as it can be in the future. And that is what happened. Honestly I was worried that the team would take the opposite approach and try to reload this team for one more run that was doomed to fail. Instead, we have a really bright future ahead of us... In theory.

I feel your frustration, but I came to terms with our fate for this season a long time ago.

I don't expect a dang thing to be honest. Between the FO taking a dump on the fans and the privilege of being 1 of 32 teamsĀ in the NFL (though with all the SJW crap i'm not sure about that anymore either) and Covid/2020 flushing the toilet we seem to find ourselves in, in general, my expectations for a lot of things are low right now.

I hear you, there is a lot going on.

But we all need something to get us through the day. I encourage all jags fans to cling to that hope that things could realistically get much better for this team starting in 2021. I know everyone is tired of that 'the future is bright' crap, but this franchise is objectively in a position where the future should be bright.

As for this year, I guess it's a case of trying not to let wins and losses get to you, and instead just hope that a good amount of our young players can show enough that they can be part of a good team in the future.

I'll probably be the first to forget that advice and start screaming and shouting at the tv screen 5 minutes in to our first game.
