I think.that Gardner could be a franchise QB. I believe he is talented and very smart. I agree with those who value intellect as an important tool.for a player to.have.

Heck, to put that into perspective more there have definitely been examples of people who were first round picks who haven't fared that well due to things like struggling with grasping concepts of the game.

Recently Brian Flores said that while Josh Rosen had a better arm han Fitzpatrick and Tua, he was struggling with grasping various concepts and that is largely why the Dolphins let him go.

And first round pick Jordan Love has been relegated to the 3rd string QB on the depth chart for the Packers because the staff feel the #2 QB Tim Boyle (an undrafted player who many people have not heard of) is far ahead of him in development.

No matter where someone is drafted intelligence can carry them a long way. And Gardner has that. I'm looking forward to seeing him play this year. And hopefully proving a lot of people, including Brian Sexton, people who wants the team to tank for Trevor Lawrence, think that Kyler Murrary is much better than him, don't believe in him for various reasons, etc...wrong.
