I'm sorry, but the Titans/Jags rivalry always seemed forced to me. I feel like it was just something the NFL cooked up to justify realignment. What I remember is the game between the Jags and Steelers in 1997 when we were leading 24-21. The Steelers attempted a field goal to tie the game, but it was blocked and as Chris Hudson was returning the blocked kick down the sideline, Pittsburgh coach Bill Cowher cocked back his fist and looked like he was gonna punch Hudson in the face. That game was completely representative of what the Jags/Steelers rivalry was all about.

Those games almost always had dramatic momentum swings.  Later that year, when we went to Pittsburgh, we lost that game in overtime.  To me...that rivalry was marked as much be a clash of cultures as much as everything.  The Steelers represented the old establishment culture.  The Jaguars represented the new.  The Steelers were northern.  The Jaguars are southern.  The Steelers stuck to tried and true run the ball and stop the run.  The Jaguars were about passing the ball.
