Lets face it most of Genes problem was injuries both Kampman and Sessions played well until their careers ended here. Even with that, if Gabbert worked out he'd still be here.


I can't go with Harvey, because we needed a DE and he was the last of the prospects that was rated high so we did what we had to do. Same for Gabbert.

 

I could say Jerry Porter, but that didnt set us back very long. Same could be said for hiring Mularkey.

 

Guess I gotta go with Tyson not for his play per se but because we needed a safety at that point and both Earl Thomas and Eric Berry were in that draft class. Now i cant assume they would have become what they became, but... yeah.
