Almost 100% of the teams take the ball if they win the coin toss. This is because they do not want to give the other team an extra possession. For that matter why even go out for the coin toss? If the other team wins it they will take the ball. If you win they get the ball. Just tell the refs which end you want to defend and call it a day maybe? Will save some time...networks can get an extra ad in... Wink
