How many people do you know personally that have gotten sick from COVID-19?

I know several people who have/had it and it's a weird thing. The 60+ year old man and his wife, he has moderate health and she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the time she tested positive for Covid, had mild to moderate symptoms. His mother and mother-in-law, both in their late 80s and with age related health issues had similar symptoms. A lady in her 70s had moderate symptoms. A 23 year old young man with good health has been in the ICU for the last two weeks in and out of a medically induced coma and having a really hard time. A couple in their 40s and their 20 year old daughter all had moderate symptoms. Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. My mom and I are pretty sure she had it back in early February before we knew what it was. She's 69 and has relatively good health and suffered moderate symptoms.

It's so weird how it affects people so differently. I read something a few minutes ago that said Trump is feeling mild symptoms. His age, health and stress load definitely don't do him any favors. I may not like the guy but I hope he and his wife recover quickly. 

I honestly think this is the new 'regular' flu. I don't think we're getting rid of it.

That's bull [BLEEP]. Nobody anyone takes seriously is hoping anyone dies. They are justifiably pointing out the irony of Trump mocking Biden's mask while Hope Hill was passing out the virus like invisible candy.

It doesn't matter if these folks are someone people take seriously. It's one thing to point out the irony of a situation and quite another to actually revel in the hardship of someone else.
