The closest situation I can think of is 2009; atrocious defense but hot and cold QB; winless Tennessee comes into town week 4 and rather then a close loss, we blew their doors off and sent them reeling to 0-4

I see where you are going with that, but the major difference is we went 7-9 in 2009.

This is a results-oriented business. There are no trophies or titles given for "moral victories" or for "winning the draft". Our record with DC is 37-86. 6-10 is our 2nd best season in 8 years of Caldwell leadership. These are the FACTS.
