He wasn't the best considered the best dude. If that was the case Houston would have taken him.

 

How do I know that? Well because Houston almost made a trade with Portland and they would have had picks #1 and #2 of the draft that year. They still would have Drafted Hakeem before Jordan......UH OH

Also by the way you are just making my comparison more valid. Jordan's knock about not being able to shoot was huge back then. Alot of teams thought he isn't going to be able to drive like that in the NBA, not against NBA defenders. Just like people are saying Johnny isn't going to be able to transition to the NFL. Johnny will develop into a better pocket passer eventually....you will see. But in the mean time he will be able to do what he does now for the first 3-4 years while he continues to develop.
