The same was not said about Jordan. It just wasn't. People fawned over his athletic ability but that only takes you so far. There would teams legitimately concerned that his style of play would only work for so long in the NBA against NBA defenders. Which is why I compared him as a prospect to Johnny. People fawn over his playmaking ability but eventually he will need to learn to develop as a better pocket passer, which I believe he will. Much like Jordan developed a great mid range jump shot.

 

The only prospect I have seen in the last 10-15 who can be compared to Jordan is Cam Newton.

 

He is the only prospect who has the physical tools to match that level of play. 

 

Manziel simply doesn't have the physical tools to match that hype. 

 

If Jordan was a NFL prospect he would be a carbon clone copy of Cam actually.

 

There was never any doubts about Jordan's ability.

 

Complete opposite with Manziel. 

 

 

 

Sorry for ragging on you earlier, I know you Johnny and all but he is simply just not that level of player.

 

If he was 6'5, with a cannon for an arm and can still do everything that he does now I could see it.
