Watching a loss is better than not having any football to watch. If you can, I recommend going the DVR route. Being able to start mid-way or so and blip past commercials, delays between plays, etc provides a much quicker path to the inevitable end.
I'm going to keep watching because I get to see guys like James Robinson develop. I get to see whether or not Minshew establishes himself as 'the man'. I get to see recent draft picks and free agents to say whether or not it was a wise decision. I get to commiserate with other fans who sat through the loss, and be able to say something more in-depth than "coach is a farthead and has been a farthead since forever, he should be fireded into the sun."

You stop watching, you miss chances to watch Shenault steamroll another DB or 3 on what should be a short gain.
