I will be a Jaguars fan for life as long as they are in Jacksonville. I will never give up on them. That doesn’t mean that I have to watch every game, though. As somebody who’s been watching this team since 2010, you could argue that I’ve seen probably the worst stretch of football that any team has had to offer. However, I owe it to my mental health to watch a little less when they’re playing this poorly.


It sets a bad example for your personal life too. Think about it: this team changes coaches, GMs, and we still suck. It’s like no matter what is changed, things stay the same. The rest of life DOESN’T work that way, and we shouldn’t normalize it. Jax Jags for life, but as a fan I’m seriously fed up. I don’t believe that Shad Khan has what it takes to assemble a winning football franchise. I believe that the issues start with him.


Say what you want about Weaver, but I’ve done my research on this Franchise. Our stretch from 2000 to 2010 wasn’t much either, but at least we had a few winning and playoff seasons, as well as a better head coaches. We were at least competitive. This team now lacks any fight, fire, or passion. I believe that stems from the failed culture that has been set in place by Shad Khan. He’s a world class business man, he has increased the value of the team tremendously. But he doesn’t know crap about running a football team. And I believe THAT is the root issue of our Jacksonville Jaguars.
