Aint nobody worth their salt is coming here. We're likely going to have to settle for some bad retread HC, or some no name nobody has ever heard of. Maybe we get lucky and strike gold on some random no name (highly doubtful). But without a doubt, this is currently the worst franchise in the NFL and it has been one of the worst for the majority of the last 20 years. Who the hell would want to come be the HC and GM of this dumpster fire.

Lol, you get paid to run an NFL team with a young roster, a ton of draft and salary cap capital, and little pressure or interference from the owner,  in a state with good weather and tax benefits. Whatever it is now those conditions are attractive.

I 100% agree with this.  In 2021, this is a GREAT job.  A slew of draft picks, huge cap space, low expectations, no state tax, beaches, and the weather... there would be a TON of strong GM and HC candidates wanting this job.  I view it as much better than Houston (mismanaged cap disaster, no draft picks until the 3rd round, high expectations with the QB), Atlanta (aging offensive talent, a defense almost as bad as ours, high expectations, and cap problems), and Detroit (you have to live in Detroit).  Our situation is similar to the Jets (a QB you're not real sure of, bad roster, multiple draft picks, and a ton of cap space), but there is more pressure to win in NYC, and the beach is a swamp.  I'm just saying... we could get GREAT candidates in 2021.

However, if we wait until 2022 to fire this regime... this job doesn't look nearly as attractive.  No multiple first round picks. We would likely spend a bunch of money in 2021 on free agents and we'd be stuck with those contracts without much cap space 2022.  Based on current roster and history, we'd likely have about a 6-10 record in 2021 (I'm being optimistic that we'd tie DC's 2nd best season ever).  Then no one worth their salt would want this job.

Enough is enough.  We need to clean house after this season.  The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.  The 2021 off-season is critical for the next 10 years of this franchise, and its clear we need knew leadership.  Will changing the GM guarantee that we are Super Bowl bound?  No... but this regime has had its chances and its clear we need a new culture and direction in the building.
This is a results-oriented business.  There are no trophies or titles given for "moral victories" or for "winning the draft".  Our record with DC is 37-86.  6-10 is our 2nd best season in 8 years of Caldwell leadership.  These are the FACTS.
