They might play Jake at some point. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him playing at some point. The team does have a tough part of the schedule ahead, and unfortunately I could see some really big blowouts happening. Which could lead to Gardner going to the bench/Jake getting some playing time. Though, he hasn't really been activated, this season. And I don't know if that's because they genuinely feel he should be the third stringer on the team. (He was originally given the #2 spot behind Gardner.) Or if that was more about having an experienced vet in Glennon, taking over if Gardner couldn't play for some reason (like injury/illness)

Jay Gruden did praise Jake and I did read some positive things about him during training camp. It would be nice if he could get some playing time during a positive blowout for the Jags (where the Jags/Gardner were dominating). But the way things are going it's more likely to be other way around, (the Jags going down very big early, and him being inserted that way).
