Oh I completely agree. It's why we always end up picking 5th or 7th. But the only way Trevor Lawrence or Fields are options are with the #1 or #2 pick and it looks a low bar for those top picks this year.

I think we need to change this losing culture. We thought we turned a corner but we didnt.

Always picking 5th or 7th isnt what hurt us, its just who they picked.  I also wouldnt take fields with the 2nd pick, id take Sewell.  I dont want to take a QB just because we need a QB,wWe need to take the BPA, we need some All Pros.   You can find a QB outside of the 1st and 2nd pick.  Pretty much all the good QBs in the league didnt get drafted with the 1st or 2nd pick.  Either way we will likely get a high pick, and the new GM just has to hit on his picks regardless of the position and thats how you build a winning team.  Along with getting the right coach
