Yeah man.  He was ranked #2 qb in fantasy pre draft.   Dude sucks in getting fantasy points.

fantasy points mean a bucket of farts in late January games. What the heck does that have to do with their chances at a SB?

I'm not alleging DC was some dastardly mastermind when formulating the terms of this deal, but assuming the absolute worst is offset by assuming that Dave knew teams like BAL were also making offers, or expressed interest, but didn't equal Minny's offer, and he added the clause to prevent Yan from getting shopped around once he renegotiated his deal.

Again, not saying that is the case, but it's just as plausible as him adding a one-liner to a deal and snickering with Shad and Tony behind closed doors.
