Looking at some of the latest comments on this thread, I'm just going to remark on a few things. (It's too many posts to quote lol, so I'll just remind to some opinions)

I don't think that Minshew would not make the people around him significantly worse (or really even worse at all) if he was on the Chiefs. I think they would have about the same level of talent/similar level they currently have now. His record may not end up being the same as it under Patrick, but they would not be a way worse team with Gardner as QB. I also don't think anyone is crazy for saying they would be a SB contender with Gardner. I'm not going to say that's very likely but there have been less than stellar QB"s go to the Superbowl. Trent Dilfer is one. It's not impossible especially with Andy Reid as a coach and the talent on that Chiefs team. Would they be as dominant as they are with Patrick, probably not, but they would still be a good and competitive team, that is capable of going far.

I think some Jags fans continue to criticize Gardner because they don't like the thought of him possibly succeeding on another team. (Also, a lot of people want Trevor Lawrence at all costs, which is why they have been off on Gardner since the Miami game. And some people just don't like him period). Which could very well happen if he's traded/let go at some point. There seems to be thing by some to constantly criticize him and try and make him seem worse than what he is. He's not the biggest problem on this team or even one of the biggest problems on this team. I don't think he's one of the biggest problems regarding the offense either.

I will give some of you, that this offense particularly James Robinson, Shenault and DJ are not as bad as some people have made them out to be. (Or in the case of someone like James bad at all, he's been great). There is definitely talent there. I do think that a lot of Jags fans are not really blaming the offense too much, except for pointing out things like how it has stalled at times this season. And pointing the finger at Jay Gruden, which I have definitely done, lol. I do think that Jay has made questionable decisions, including constantly abandoning the run. Which he finally stopped doing in the game against the Chargers, and the Jags were much more competitive than that. People have also been critical of the O-line at times which is understandable IMO. But from what I've seen more than anything people have been mostly critical about the defense and the coaching. I've seen fans of other teams not talk well about the offense, but I suspect they haven't really watched much Jags game this year.

Gardner's play has been decent in various ways and on other teams would be efficient enough to possibly help them make the playoffs.

PS9, I understand your Tony Romo comparisons, and you're not the only one that thinks that. Trent Dilfer compared Gardner to him as well. I think maybe Drew Bledsoe may have as well. Both of them are fans of Gardner and have had discussions about him.
