What I saw was a raw rookie that made some good throws but also made some really bad throws. Some of these throws were miscommunications, which given it's his first game, you can give him a bit of a pass. But again, this guy should have thrown 3 picks, but he got lucky.

I won't say he's bad, he shows promise, but to say he's better than Minshew is laughable. If you think Minshew is mediocre, Jake Luton isn't going to be any less mediocre based on what I saw today, infact he may be more mediocre based on what I saw today. Although mad props for the whitest white boy spin move I've seen for the TD scramble today. Either way, need more games under his belt to get a fair evaluation, but aside from throwing a faster/harder ball and 5 extra inches of height, I'm not seeing much else that looks better than what Minshew has shown thus far.
