Just that these hype type QBs become something flashy really quickly and then peter out. First of all... there's a reason he's regressing from his MVP season (which was largely boosted by his run game) and it isn't just missing some OL guys. Second, there's a reason why he slid to 32 (would have been the 2nd round had Ravens not traded up).

Unless (and he still could) he improves his game from inside the pocket, he'll be a flash in the pan QB and won't ever amount to much more than what he is... which is a better version of RG3 but not a legitimate franchise QB.

Which was what many of the "Lamar haters" have been saying since pre draft. He's a running QB, not a QB that can run. And yeah, he dazzled last year, he earned the MVP (likely because of Mahomes' injury though). But take away the run game portion of his ability and he's a very average QB. Can he stand in the pocket and throw it 35 times a game and lead that team from behind to win? Not lookin likely.

But I guess we just hate the kid and love us some Taven Bryan.

Indeed... not sure how it got derailed into a discussion about that teams' RB  QB.

Lol didn't he win MVP last year and lead the league in passing TDs?  I'm moving on from this but some of y'all just can't admit when you're wrong.  Despite the struggles this year the Ravens are sitting at 6-2 and there two losses are against the best two teams in the NFL right now.

Its because they have the best defense in the league. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team/_/vi...me/dir/asc
