This just highlights a large part of the issue with Wash. He made the adjustment we've all been begging for after the season's already torpedoed. 

When there is skin in the game, he always goes ultra conservative, play not to lose, we'll get em in the second half defense.

Exactly. I still don't understand why some coaches seem so resistant to trying new adjustments. It was glaringly obvious to the casual fan that we needed to dial up more pressure, and so far have been proven correct in that. Why is a professional so stubborn to try it? I understand wanting "your" scheme to work, but results are more important by far. There's no possible way Wash didn't think of the idea before just last week.
