Top 3 greatest areas of need for the new GM to address right away.

#21

I take this question to mean players only, no coaches. We have to get the HC position right though. That is obvious. We need to play the right scheme to match the players we have.

1. QB- If we don't get this right, nothing else matters.

2. LT- I don't wanna see what happened to Joe Burrow, end up happening to our new QB. Cincinnati put the cart before the horse and put a great, young franchise QB behind a garbage O-Line and the results were disastrous. The interior play by the O-Line has been much better this year, but the Tackles have not played well, particularly Jawaan Taylor. If Robinson wants a big contract, we gotta let him walk. He's serviceable at best. We need to stabilize at least one of the OT spots.

3. Edge Pass Rush- This spot was hard for me to figure out. There are so many options. I was thinking 3 Technique, Safety, TE and Nickle. All need to be addressed in one way or another, but our edge pass rush has been non-existent this year. Opposing QB's have sat back in a clean pocket and picked us apart. Whether we add a 4-3 DE to play opposite Josh Allen or whether we switch to a 3-4 formation and move Allen and Chaisson to OLB's where they are a more natural fit, the edge pass has to be addressed. Without pressure on opposing QB's, our defense will never improve.
