Dude, Minshew is NOT the answer. He lacks arm strength, he holds the ball entirely too long and he gets "gun shy." He could have an all-pro line in front of him and it wouldn't make a difference. He is what he is. He's a decent backup and may have a long NFL as such, but he's not a franchise QB. We have to take a QB in the first round, whether it is with our first pick or our second. We can address the OT position as well and give him some security. Whether it is taking Sewell at #2 overall or taking Eichenberg with the pick we acquired from the Rams. That's what I would like to see. Right now, after watching Zach Wilson play, I'm all in on him or Trevor Lawrence with the #2 pick. If we could then draft OT Liam Eichenberg of Notre Dame with the Rams' pick, that would be a perfect first round IMO. I'd then look to address the defensive needs the rest of the way as well as taking a TE like Hunter Long of Boston College or Charlie Kolar of Iowa State. I'm especially high on Kolar.
