If the NFL didn't want its fans talking this way, they would have gone to a draft lottery system long ago.

This is the system we have. When the first pick was out of reach, there wasn't much difference between picking second, or picking third or picking fourth, so sure, root for the Jags to win. When you're lined up to get the first pick, and the highest graded QB prospect since Andrew Luck is coming out, you'd better lose.

Someone needs to get in Marrone's ear and tell him that it would be best for everyone if Luton got more real game film. That interim GM needs to put a couple more guys on IR too.

My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
