Are you trying to win 2 meaningless games at the end of a long long long lost season, or are you trying to win Super Bowls (which typically involves winning a lot more than our current level) by positioning yourself to get a franchise QB?

You make it seem as if drafting superior players precludes the team and its players from trying to win.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't you among those who want Marrone fired?

Why?

He's been trying to win...right? He's professional, right?

So why fire him or any other former coach or GM who tried to win and was professional, but failed miserably?

You could make the argument that by trading away guys like Ramsey, Ngakoue, Campbell and Bouye, the organization is not trying to win. Their efforts to not win were pronounced that the team is on the verge of having the worst record in team history.

If so, then why does your loyalty to the team persist?

I'm pretty indifferent regarding Marrone. I don't necessarily "want" him to get fired, but I expect it. It's a results-based business and he hasn't produced acceptable results.

I still would like to see the team win and couldn't care less about the #1 draft pick.
