He's been trying to win...right?  He's professional, right?

So why fire him or any other former coach or GM who tried to win and was professional, but failed miserably?

You could make the argument that by trading away guys like Ramsey, Ngakoue, Campbell and Bouye, the organization is not trying to win.  Their efforts to not win were pronounced that the team is on the verge of having the worst record in team history.

If so, then why does your loyalty to the team persist?

I'm pretty indifferent regarding Marrone.  I don't necessarily "want" him to get fired, but I expect it.  It's a results-based business and he hasn't produced acceptable results.

I still would like to see the team win and couldn't care less about the #1 draft pick.
