I see a lot of people people in the media, probably Jets fans, saying how bad it would be for the NFL to have Lawrence go to Jacksonville. Really? Was it bad for Brett Farve and Aaron Rodgers to be stars in Green Bay? Was it bad for Terry Bradshaw to go to Pittsburgh? What about Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck being drafted by the Colts? If anything, it's a good thing for stars to go to small market teams. It elevates the profile of all teams in the NFL and can create larger fan bases to the NFL. People who may have never watched Jaguars football before could all of a sudden become fans, just because of one star player and if that happens, that can create more revenue for not only the team, but the NFL overall. It also creates more diversity in the league and that should all be viewed as a positive.

I mean. Just look at it logically.

If Lawerence is as advertised, more prime time games on Sunday and Monday night. Playoff games. More fans in the stands and in the streets. More opposing fans coming to games. It could jump start a winning culture with the right coach and GM. Jersey sales. New fans like kids who jump on the winning bandwagon. I live in MD and the amount of Mahomes, Steph Curry and Wilson jerseys are nuts.

It jump starts everything. Does it fix it right away? No and no one is claiming that. But it certainly helps the process go a little smoother and a little quicker.

I predict that Trevor Lawrence Jaguars jersey's (please God, let it be) will be the #1 jersey sold in the NFL next year. Not just to people in Jacksonville, but worldwide. That only helps the league.
