Is he though? It's been pointed out that he's right under .500 without Brady. I'd say he's above average, but great? I'm having doubts. I'm even having doubts on him being "above average" these days.

He's been a pretty good coach in the manner of taking away what the other team does well. Basically unbeatable against rookie QBs.
They still managed a 10 win team that year Brady tore his ACL... 

I'm not ready to give Brady all the credit but he probably deserves most of it. But elite QBs make coaches records better, that's nothing new. I think Belicheck could still be a very good coach. But I'm definitely not feeling Belicheck the GM.
