I’m enjoying reading some of the articles about how attractive the Jacksonville HC position is currently. Most have us and the chargers 1 and 2. The one thing that is still makes me cringe is when news outlets bring up London. Not in a move the team aspect but more just pointing out how committed we were becoming to London before COVID. Thinking back to all the state of the franchise speeches with Lamping showing bull [BLEEP] charts in an attempt to make fans somehow appreciate the fact they were moving games away is something that hasn’t aged well. At least not with me.

I understand what he was saying, I’m not blind to the realities that we face as a franchise in small market. But it was and always will feel like a bit of a slap in the face.

I hope those are days we can put behind us.

I mean the bengals were garbage before he got there and they immediately got worse when he left. He also has had really bad luck with QB injuries in the playoffs or his guys just choking. 

Let me put it this way, Andy Dalton looked like a good QB under Marvin, he didn’t look anything like that after he left. Carson Palmer also had his best season under Lewis. 

He’s not my favorite, but he’s at least as good a choice as Caldwell IMO.

I can agree with that. Still a hard no for me. If the job is as attractive as it seems to be, there is no reason we should have to settle for a move like that.
