The most frustrating thing in conversations with people on the more liberal side of the spectrum is this.  You folks continue to not understand that Trump is not the cause but a symptom.  Look at what is happening in the wake of Wednesday’s events.  Conservative platforms are being openly banned.  This is nothing new, the left has been silencing conservatives for years.  Disagree with an Obama policy-racist!  Oppose abortion on demand-misogynist!  Witness a democrat do some egregious act-observe silence from the legacy media or worse a blatant cover up.  Trump was championed by the right because he stood up to all of that and gave a disenfranchised segment of society a voice.  To make matters worse we are witnessing the left and their partners in the legacy media double and triple down on it, all the while calling for unity.

Naw don't put me with them either. I'm neutral in all of this. I don't have a dog in this fight because both sides are corrupt, lying, snakes. I don't support either. Neither side cares even a tiny bit about you, me, or any of us. They only care about themselves and it's been proven time and time again. They don't hesitate to throw each other under the bus, even when they're on the same side.

With that said, a lot of Trump followers are some of the most delusional people I've ever seen. It's honestly sad how much some of them worship the guy. That obviously can be said for both sides in some sense, but a lot of trumplers are a different story.

At the end of the day, both sides want us to be divided. It just gives them more power and we're much easier to be controlled that way. The american people are falling right into what the powers want. If we're all too busy hating/beating up each other, they can continue to slither around in the background and continue their corruption, which has been going on for far too long. 

The problem is we keep fighting each other, when we should all be coming together to fight the power. But again, that is never going to happen because so many people are just going to continue too blindly eat up everything their "side" preaches, because they've all been told to despise the other side so much.
