The most frustrating thing in conversations with people on the more liberal side of the spectrum is this.  You folks continue to not understand that Trump is not the cause but a symptom.  Look at what is happening in the wake of Wednesday’s events.  Conservative platforms are being openly banned.  This is nothing new, the left has been silencing conservatives for years.  Disagree with an Obama policy-racist!  Oppose abortion on demand-misogynist!  Witness a democrat do some egregious act-observe silence from the legacy media or worse a blatant cover up.  Trump was championed by the right because he stood up to all of that and gave a disenfranchised segment of society a voice.  To make matters worse we are witnessing the left and their partners in the legacy media double and triple down on it, all the while calling for unity.

Straight up facts. The hypocrisy of the media along with these tech companies banning conservatives is stifling freedom of speech. Worse, its silencing someone with whom they disagree. What the hell? So, people can't have a difference of opinion? People can't express their outrage? BLM and antifa expressed their 'outrage' all of 2020, not to mention the D politicians, and no one said a word.
